Whether you're running solo or managing a full coaching staff, your ability to leverage time—yours and your team's—is the key to getting more done, working fewer hours, and making a bigger impact.
That's why I’m sharing this quick Q&A with recent advice I’ve given that will help you do just that.
Let’s get into it. . .
Q: “Mandy, I always feel behind on recruiting. I need to finish this class and start the next one before I fall behind again. Help!”
Answer:
You’re stuck because you're working in “slivers”—15 minutes here, 30 minutes there—and that’s killing your momentum.
The solution? Work in BLOCKS.
You need 3–5 hours of focused, uninterrupted time. One long block moves the needle more than a whole week of scattered effort.
Think of it like this:
Blocks = Focus + Progress
Slivers = Productivity Death by 1,000 Cuts (thanks to all that start-stop time)
So here’s your move:
Today: Block off time for your BIG projects. Plan your next two weeks. Protect those blocks like your season depends on it—because it does.
Then: Hit your first block early in the day and early in the week, before distractions stack up.
Take control of your time, and you take control of your results.
To your success,
Mandy Green
