Most people use this movie as an analogy when someone’s life is boring and repetitive or when a business isn’t moving forward.

Watch this movie if you want to improve your program

Happy Sunday Coach!

I hope you and your family had a Happy Thanksgiving!

If you had to travel somewhere, my hope is that your trip was less stressful than my trip home to visit my family in MN.  Long story short, something on my front wheel broke while we were driving in WI.  I am very thankful that I chose to pull over when I did but we were stuck in a hotel for 3 days and it cost over $3,500 to get it fixed.  Oy!

While we were sitting in the hotel, the movie Groundhog Day came on

Have you seen it?

It’s the one where the main character – played by Bill Murray – is reliving the same day over and over.

Most people use this movie as an analogy when someone’s life is boring and repetitive or when a business isn’t moving forward.

But I personally think it can be a really good way to live your daily life and run your program and recruiting.

Why?

Because if you actually watch the movie, you’ll realize that Bill Murray’s character eventually finds a way to get the most out of the situation and starts living the “perfect average day” every single day.

It made me wonder…

“What does my PERFECT AVERAGE DAY look like?”

So I literally created a list:

– Wake up

– Start with gratitude

– Make my favorite coffee

– Sit at my computer and look at my priorities for the day

– Put on focus music and work on 1-3 things undisturbed

…And so on.

I designed my “perfect average day”.

And then I started living it.

Every single day.

It may sound boring to some people…

But in my case, it allows me to do everything I want – both in business (I’m not coaching right now) and in my personal life –  and go to bed every night feeling accomplished.

Because, let’s be honest, being successful with most everything is repetitive and boring by definition.

You will live the same day quite a few times over.

So you may as well make it a “perfect average day.”

Hope this article gets you thinking about how your approach your days.

To your success,
